<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a nonaqueous electrolyte secondary battery suppressed in gas generation during storage of the battery and suppressed in a self-discharge reaction. <P>SOLUTION: There is provided a nonaqueous electrolyte secondary battery 1 including a positive electrode 3, a negative electrode 4 and a nonaqueous electrolyte.
