<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a braking control device for a vehicle and a braking control method for the vehicle, which can start auxiliary control for assisting an increase in a braking force exerted on a wheel on the basis of a driver's braking operation, with proper timing, without reference to information on a gradient of a road surface where the vehicle travels. <P>SOLUTION: An electronic control unit (ECU) for a brake acquires the information on the gradient of the road surface where the vehicle travels, and corrects a first deceleration determination value DV_st on the basis of the information on the gradient (step S79). The electronic control unit (ECU) for the brake starts the auxiliary control both when vehicle-body deceleration DV exceeds the first deceleration determination value DV_st and when a G-sensor value G exceeds a second deceleration determination value G_st (step S84 and step S89: YES). <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
