<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wireless communication device, a wireless communication method, a program, and a wireless communication system for easily performing connection setting. <P>SOLUTION: A wireless communication device comprises: an application; a communication control unit for controlling search processing for detecting peripheral wireless communication devices and connection processing with the detected peripheral wireless communication devices; and a display control unit for generating a display screen including display of the peripheral wireless communication devices detected in the search processing.
