<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a field emission type light-emitting device which can expand the size of a brightness spot to obtain uniform emission of light without causing reduction in fluorescence efficiency due to an increased electrode-to-electrode distance or shortage of an excitation voltage. <P>SOLUTION: The field emission type light-emitting device includes a cathode 200 having an electron discharge source 20 disposed thereon, an anode 100 located oppositely to the cathode 200 and having a phosphor disposed thereon, and a plurality of magnetic field generation means 300. The plurality of magnetic field generation means 300 are located outside of the device on a surface facing the cathode 200 or oppositely to a side surface of the cathode 200, and are arranged in such a way that their magnetic poles have reverse polarity alternately. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
