摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an endoscope apparatus which does not need adjustment of a captured image by an operator, even when a portion captured from a proximal end and a portion captured from a distal end are mixed in one captured image, and which can obtain a captured image that is optimal and bright in relation to endoscopic observation of a lesion part, surface layer fine blood vessels and the like. <P>SOLUTION: The endoscope apparatus 10 includes: light source means 14, 24 for irradiating a subject with illumination light; an imaging means 26 for capturing the capturing image by return light from a living body being the subject and outputting a captured image signal; a density calculating means for calculating the density of each pixel of the captured image; and an image processing means 36 for performing predetermined image processing to the captured image. The image processing means 36 changes frequency processing conditions with respect to the captured image such that the detection and enhancement degree of the structure and components of the living body in the subject are changed according to at least the density of each pixel of the captured image. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT
