<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel tank structure containing a fuel tank body made of a thermoplastic material by which the welding of a projection formed inward can be controlled. <P>SOLUTION: A fuel tank body 14 includes a deformation restriction projection 20 and a deformation restriction base 22. An opposed surface 24 is opposed to the deformation restriction projection 20.
