<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for charging raw materials into a blast furnace, with which an influence where reduction in the blast furnace operation is rate-controlled, is relaxed and the quantity of the reducing material to be used can be decreased. <P>SOLUTION: In the method for alternately forming an ore layer 27 and a coke layer 28 by conveying ore raw material 18 which is obtained by discharging sintered ore 10, bulky ore 11 and reducing auxiliary material 12 from respective storage tanks 14 to 16 and making them a layered state to the blast furnace 26 by relaying of a plurality of conveyance means 19 to 25, and alternately charging the ore raw material 18 and coke to form an ore layer 27 and a coke layer 28, the grain size ratio Y of the average grain size diameter of the reduction auxiliary material 12 to the ore raw material 18 and the real density ratio X of the reduction auxiliary material 12 to the ore raw material 18, are adjusted so as to satisfy following formula, and the reduction auxiliary material 12 is positioned in the ore layer 27 in the peripheral part of the blast furnace 26.
