<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily supply lubricating oil to a power transmission device in which lubricating oil is charged independently in a transmission and a transfer. <P>SOLUTION: The power transmission device includes: a transmission 9 having a transmission case 7 which houses a differential mechanism 5 and into which first lubricating oil 90 is charged; a transfer 17 having a transfer case 15 which houses a differential mechanism 13 including a hollow shaft 11 with a driving shaft 61 to be inserted therein and which is connected to the transmission case 7 and into which second lubricating oil 91 is charged; a coupling part 19 which couples the transfer 17 and a differential case 3; a sealing means for partitioning off the first lubricating oil and second lubricating oil; a supply path 37 which communicates the inside of a space S3 of the hollow shaft 11 with the inside of the transfer case 15 and supplies the second lubricating oil 91 into the space S3; and lubricating oil adjusting means 100 which is disposed between the hollow shaft 11 and driving shaft 61 and which is in a non-supply state until the driving shaft rotates, and discharges the second lubricating oil supplied into the space S3 of the hollow shaft 11, to the coupling part side when the driving shaft 61 rotates. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
