摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light emitting device in which balance between the amount of emission light from a CPC (compound parabolic concentrators) lens and the amount of reflection light from a reflector is optimized, and which does not give a sense of discomfort to a user who is accustomed to a halogen lamp with a reflector. <P>SOLUTION: The light emitting device 10 is constructed of a surface light source 12 to emit light in planar shape, a CPC lens 14 which has a light receiving surface 22 to receive a part of light from the surface light source 12, a reflection side surface 24 which internally reflects the light received from the light receiving surface 22, and a light emitting surface 26 which is arranged opposed to the light receiving surface 22 and emits light, and a reflector 16 which houses the surface light source 12 and the CPC lens 14 inside and has a reflection concave surface 30 which reflects frontward the light from the surface light source 12 that has escaped the light receiving surface 22 formed on the inner surface. The value obtained by dividing the light emission area in the surface light source 12 by the area of the light receiving surface 22 of the CPC lens 14 is 0.63 or more and 2.93 or less. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT
