<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily set a cut face for observing lumen-like tissue. <P>SOLUTION: This ultrasonic diagnostic apparatus includes an extraction part 16b, a connected volume data generating part 16c and a control part 18. The extraction part 16b extracts core line information on a lumen region based on volume data. A volume data processing part 16 generates connected volume data by connecting a plurality of cross-sectional data for cutting the volume data by a plurality of perpendicular planes to the core line based on the core line information. The control part 18 sets a designated plane along a connecting direction based on a straight line designated by an operator in an ultrasonic image of reference cross-sectional data that cut the connected volume data by a reference plane perpendicular to the connected direction of each cross-sectional data in the connected volume data, and displays on a monitor 2 the ultrasonic image of the designated cross-sectional data that cut the connected volume data by the designated plane. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
