PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an oxide superconductive wire material in which, even though a lamination is thick, Jc is not reduced and an oxide superconducting layer with sufficiently high Ic is formed on a substrate plate, and provide a manufacturing method of the oxide superconductive wire material.

SOLUTION: A manufacturing method for an oxide superconductive wire material in which organic metallic compound is used as raw material and an oxide superconducting layer is formed by a coating pyrolysis method on a substrate, includes stacking a plurality of oxide superconducting layers having different optimum formal baking temperatures on the substrate in order of the baking temperature from highest to lowest. The oxide superconducting layers formed on the substrate are three or more layers, each thickness of which is 0.05 to 1.0 μm.
