<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an oxide superconductive wire material in which, even though a lamination is thick, Jc is not reduced and an oxide superconducting layer with sufficiently high Ic is formed on a substrate plate, and provide a manufacturing method of the oxide superconductive wire material. <P>SOLUTION: A manufacturing method for an oxide superconductive wire material in which organic metallic compound is used as raw material and an oxide superconducting layer is formed by a coating pyrolysis method on a substrate, includes stacking a plurality of oxide superconducting layers having different optimum formal baking temperatures on the substrate in order of the baking temperature from highest to lowest.
