<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a foreign matter removing device capable of efficiently removing, using a small amount of clean air, foreign matter clinging to the bottom and the inner surface of a container for energy saving and lower running costs. <P>SOLUTION: The foreign matter removing device inserts a nozzle 22 into an inverted container, and removes foreign matter in the container using clean air ejected from the nozzle 22. The nozzle 22 includes an upper exhaust opening 31 for ejecting the clean air from its tip to the bottom of the container, and a horizontal exhaust hole 32 for ejecting the clean air toward the inner surface of the container. The foreign matter removing device also includes a switching unit 33 for switching the order of ejection of the clean air ejected from the upper exhaust opening 31 and the horizontal exhaust opening 32, to the order of the upper exhaust opening 31 to the horizontal exhaust opening 32. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
