CATALYTIC CONVERTER DEVICE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a catalytic converter device in which the lowering of energizing efficiency to a catalyst carrier resulting from carbon contained in exhaust gas can be suppressed.

SOLUTION: The catalyst carrier 14 is formed longer than a holding member 26 in the axial direction (exhaust gas flow direction). The upstream side portion of the catalyst carrier 14 forms an upstream side projecting part 14U which further projects to the upstream side than the upstream side end surface 26A of the holding member 26. An insulation layer 24 is provided on the outer peripheral surface of a downstream side projecting part 14L.
