PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To control a printing disclosure range in little management information.

SOLUTION: A method for controlling a printing disclosure range of a document comprises: a step for dividing document data representing a document into a plurality of blocks; a step for embedding disclosure destination information which designates a user or a user group to which the bloch can be disclosed for each block; a step for receiving identification information of a specific user who is going to print the document; and a step for printing only blocks in which the identification information coincides with the disclosure destination information.
