<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To restrain a position of a cutoff line at low beams from being shifted or sharpness of the cutoff line from changing, while changeover between the low beams and high beams are carried out. <P>SOLUTION: The headlight for a vehicle 1 is provided with a bulb 10, a first reflecting face 3 reflecting forward light from the bulb 10, a projection lens 20 projecting forward light reflected by the first reflecting face 3, a shade 50 fixed in an erected state between the projection lens 20 and the bulb 10, a first opening 5 formed behind a lower end 53 of the shade 50, a second opening 6 formed in front of the lower end 53 of the shade 50, a second reflecting face 4 arranged facing forward above the rear of the first opening 5, a third reflecting face 41 arranged facing upward below the first opening 5 and the second opening 6, a fourth reflecting face 52 formed on a front face of the shade 50, and a shutter 60 opening and closing either the first opening 5 or the second opening 6. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
