<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a means capable of improving maneuvering stability, by reducing a difference in turning performance between a right turn and a left turn, while reducing weight of a pneumatic tire, by setting the number of inclined belt layers of slantingly arranging a cord in one direction to a tire equatorial surface, only as one layer. <P>SOLUTION: The pneumatic tire pairs have a carcass constituted of at least one ply extending in a toroidal shape, an inclined belt layer of one layer of slantingly extending the cord at an inclination of 15°-75° to the tire equatorial surface, and a circumferential directional belt layer arranged by spirally winding a spiral cord at an inclination of ≤5° to the tire equatorial surface, and are installed as one set in right-left wheels of a vehicle. The pneumatic tire pairs and the installation method of them are characterized by making the extending direction to the tire equatorial surface of the cord for constituting the inclined belt layer, different between a right wheel tire and a left wheel tire. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
