<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent radiation leakage by reducing pressure loss of cooling air and effectively blocking radiant rays. <P>SOLUTION: A radiation generator 103 is stored in a building 102, and an air intake duct 110 and an exhaust duct 120 are connected to the building 102. The air intake and exhaust ducts 110, 120 are respectively composed of horizontal ducts 111, 121 and vertical ducts 112, 122 connected to the horizontal ducts 111, 121, and the tip sides of duct spaces of the horizontal ducts 111, 121 respectively form radiation attenuation spaces R1, R2. Radiation shielding plates are not formed in the air intake and exhaust ducts 110, 120, air is allowed to flow at low pressure loss and radiant rays are reflected/absorbed in the radiations attenuation spaces R1, R2 and are not leaked to the outside. Since low pressure loss is held, effective natural circulation flow can be achieved even when the exhaust duct 120 is lowered. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
