<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bath water heater for mitigating effect due to shock of a water hammer. <P>SOLUTION: When performing hot-water-filling operation for pouring hot water of a set hot-water-filling amount in a bathtub 22, a hot-water-filling amount calculation means 49 calculates an amount of hot water poured in the bathtub 22 according to a flow rate of hot water detected by a hot-water-filling flow rate sensor 30. When it is determined that the amount has reached the set hot-water-filling amount, a valve opening adjustment means 48 adjusts the degree of opening on the side of a hot water output pipe 3 of a bath mixture valve 18 to 60% or lower and then performs control to close a hot-water-filling valve 29. Thus, pressure loss decreases, the effect due to the shock of the water hammer are mitigated, and defect of the bath mixture valve 18 is prevented. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
