PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an insulation circuit for power transfer that can easily detect a current flowing to the circuit while suppressing a rise in production cost and an increase in circuit scale.

SOLUTION: An insulation circuit 101 for power transfer includes: a capacitor C1; a capacitor C2 which outputs electric power to an output end 25; an input switch part 21 which switches whether to supply the electric power input from an input end 24 to the capacitor C1; an output switch part 22 which switches whether to supply electric power accumulated in the capacitor C1 to the capacitor C2 when the input switch part 21 supplies no electric power to the capacitor C1; a detection part 23 which detects a voltage V2 across the capacitor C2; and a calculation part 13 which calculates a current value iLof an output current of the insulation circuit 101 for power transfer based upon the voltage detected by the detection part 23.
