<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a MEMS oscillator which can be activated fast without increasing current consumption. <P>SOLUTION: A MEMS oscillator includes a driver amplifier, a first resonator comprising an LC resonance circuit, a second resonator comprising a MEMS resonator, a switch circuit capable of switching connection and open, and a switch control unit which controls the switch circuit. In the MEMS oscillator, the driver amplifier, the first resonator and the switch circuit form a first closed loop circuit which feeds at least a part of output signals of the driver amplifier back to the driver amplifier. The driver amplifier and the second resonator form a second closed loop circuit which is different from the first closed loop circuit and feeds at least a part of output signals of the driver amplifier back to the driver amplifier. The switch control unit connects the switch circuit during at least a part of an activation period of the MEMS oscillator and, when a predetermined condition is satisfied, opens the switch circuit. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
