PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To recognize a keyword which is used for a search by other user and has high possibility of being useful for his/her own self regardless of whether the user performed the search or not.

SOLUTION: A keyword selection device identifies a group of either one from a plurality of groups (S1), and identifies one user belonging to the identified group (S2). The user identified in the step S2 is called "a specific user" in the following. The keyword selection device extracts a keyword which is used for a search by the other user who is a user belonging to the group identified in the step S1 and is not the specific user (S4), and records the extracted key word (S5).
