<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sawing machine capable of facilitating positioning to a transfer original point of a feed base with a simple configuration. <P>SOLUTION: A sewing machine 1 comprises: a driving force transmission mechanism and a needle vertical movement mechanism having a sewing needle moving vertically, for sewing a cloth; a movable body 52 for placing the cloth; and a cloth-feeding device 30 for moving the movable body 52 in an X direction and a Y direction orthogonal to each other. The cloth-feeding device 30 includes: a Y-axis encoder 70 for detecting original point signals at a plurality of positions corresponding to movement of the movable body 52 along the Y direction; and an X-axis original point sensor 71 for setting any one of a plurality of positions, at which the Y-axis encoder 70 detects the original points in the Y direction, to a Y reference position, and for detecting that the movable body 52 reaches an X reference position in the X direction when the movable body 52 moves along the X direction remaining on the Y reference position. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
