PURPOSE: A colored radiation-sensitive composition, a color filter, a method for manufacturing the color filter, a solid state image taking device, and a liquid crystal display device are provided to reduce color spread and stains of colored patterns. CONSTITUTION: A colored radiation-sensitive composition includes a pigment polymer, a polymerizable compound, a photo-polymerization initiator, and an organic solvent. The composition does not include a pigment frame. The content of inorganic metal salt in the composition is 0.1 mass% or less based on the solid part of a pigment. The color polymer includes partial structures derived from dipyrromethene pigment, azo pigment, xanthenes pigment, squalium pigment, and phthalocyanine pigment. The pigment polymer includes an alkali soluble group or a polymerizable group. The dipyrromethene pigment is represented by chemical formula 8. |
