<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a water closet for which a carrying distance of filth is extended more than before without lowering a water saving function by a vertical turning type trap part. <P>SOLUTION: In order to solve the problem, the water closet includes: a bowl part 1 for storing water; a drain port 10 formed at a bottom part 2 of the bowl part 1, for discharging the water inside the bowl part 1; a washing water supply part for supplying washing water into the bowl part 1; a drain cylinder 20 whose upper end is connected to the drain port 10 and downstream end is opened to the side; and a vertical turning type trap part 30 connected to the downstream end of the drain cylinder 20. A front bottom surface 3 of the bottom part 2 is inclined downwards to the drain port 10, a rear bottom surface 4 of the bottom part 2 is inclined downwards to the drain port 10 and also positioned above a front opening edge 11, and the rear bottom surface 4 serves as a water splash prevention part 5 for receiving filth 40. An inner surface continued to the front opening edge 11 of the drain cylinder 20 serves as an inclined surface 21 inclined downwards to the downstream side, and an inclination angle of the inclined surface 21 is larger than an inclination angle of the front bottom surface 3. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
