This advertisement management device (1) manages advertisements using advertisement information containing information indicating the associations between advertisements and categories, and is provided with: a unit (38) for determining on the basis of the advertisement information a category to be split, i.e., a category of which it holds that the number of associated advertisements with that same category is greater than or equal to a prescribed threshold value; and a re-classification unit (39) which associates a portion of the advertisements associated with the category to be split with a category other than the category to be split and updates the advertisement information.
