<p>Novel expansion compensation device and method for manufacture thereof, of the type used in solar energy absorber tubes, having a double-bellows design where the height of the bends in the bellows is not uniform, but where instead the second bend (which supports more load) is higher, the height gradually decreasing towards the ends. With this design it is possible to achieve an improvement in the efficiency of the collector since the length of the device is shortened, resulting in a greater area for receiving the solar radiation as well as a reduction in the diameter required for the glass tube and therefore its cost.</p> |
