The present invention relates to a dual surface conductor for high voltage and high current, to be used as a bus bar or a power cable. More particularly, the present invention relates to a dual surface conductor for high voltage and high current, to be used as a bus bar or a power cable, to which electricity is applied. A through hole having a circular or rectangular cross sectional surface penetrates, in a lengthwise direction, through the inside of a cylindrical or rectangular cylindrical surface conductor, or, alternatively, an elongated through hole penetrates through the inside of the surface conductor in a lengthwise direction, together with the through hole to permit the through hole to communicate to the outside, or, alternatively, an elongated through hole penetrates through the inside of the surface conductor to enable the surface conductor to have a C- or square C-shaped cross section, and the through hole and the elongated through hole are filled with a curable insulation material to thereby form a dual surface conductor. Thus, the surface area of the surface conductor increases, the cross sectional area thereof decreases, and the thickness thereof is reduced, thereby increasing current density and allowable current. |
