Disclosed is a method for continuously receiving a multimedia broadcast multicast service (MBMS) service. A user equipment (UE), upon detecting that an MBMS service being received is stopped, according to the correlation between the MBMS service and a unicast service, initiates access of the unicast service corresponding to the MBMS service, and continues to receive the MBMS service through unicast. Further disclosed is a device for continuously receiving an MBMS service. By using the solutions of the present invention, it is ensured that the receiving state of a user receiving an MBMS service will not be interrupted, thereby improving the service experience of the user.
