AUTHENTICATION METHOD BASED ON DHCP, DHCP SERVER AND CLIENT

Disclosed are an authentication method based on DHCP, a DHCP server and a client. The method includes: a DHCP server receives a DHCP discovery message sent by a DHCP client, with the DHCP discovery message including the URL of a CA and the ID of the DHCP client; the DHCP server discovers the CA according to the URL of the CA and sends an authorization request to the CA, with the authorization request carrying the ID of the DHCP client; and the DHCP server receives authorization information returned by the CA, with the authorization information including the certificate of the DHCP client. The present invention is applicable to authentication based on DHCP.
