Disclosed is a connecting member for fixing a filtering element of a press filter to a bearing plate and a press filter comprising the connecting member, the connecting member comprising a first cylinder core, a first edge vertically extended outward along the periphery of one end of the first cylinder core, a second cylinder core and a second edge vertically extended outward along the periphery of one end of the second cylinder core, and the first and the second edges are fixedly connected to the filtering element; wherein the shape and the size of the first cylinder core are made in a such way that the cylinder core just extends through the central hole of the bearing plate and engages tightly together therewith; the shape and the size of the second cylinder core are made in such a way that the cylinder core just extends through the first cylinder core and engages with it; and the first cylinder core and the first edge, the second cylinder core and the second edge are respectively pressed integrally from a non-woven fabric which retains its shape, is able to support itself and has moldability.
