摘要 <p>Misalignment between moving-side and stationary-side shafts during a switching operation is prevented, such that accumulation of mechanical fatigue at an insulating nozzle and respective contactors is prevented, and arc extinguishing performance and insulating performance at the time of disconnection are improved. A puffer type circuit breaker is constructed by providing a disconnecting part (2) inside a container (1) to be filled with an insulating gas. The disconnecting part (2) is composed roughly of a stationary-side main contactor (14), a movable-side main contactor (12), a stationary-side arc contactor (3), a movable-side arc contactor (5), and an insulating nozzle (13). The movable side of the disconnecting part (2) is composed roughly of a puffer cylinder (10), a puffer shaft (19), and a puffer piston (18). The puffer piston (18) has two supporting members (15, 16) for supporting the puffer shaft (19). The puffer type circuit breaker is configured with the inclusion of a supplemental gravity center adjustment member that positions the center of gravity (17) of the movable side between the two supporting members (15, 16) by the time the disconnecting part (2) reaches from the intermediate position to the closed circuit position through the switching operation.</p>
