[Problem] To provide a reclining device having high locking strength and reduced rattling. [Solution] A reclining device comprises: a pair of first pawls (main pawls) (41) disposed at diagonal positions; and at least one second pawl (sub-pawl) (43). A first cam (cam mechanism) (31) moves each of the pawls to a lock position, and when the outer teeth (41a) of the first pawls (41) and the inner teeth (23) of a ratchet (first member) (21) are in a state in which the outer teeth (41a) and the inner teeth (23) mesh with each other without play, the outer teeth (43a) of the second pawl (43) and the inner teeth (23) of the ratchet (21) mesh with each other with play. |
