The device has a time scale (2) combined with a transparent container (1) i.e. glass or plastic bottle containing water, where the time scale is temporarily or permanently associated with the bottle. The time scale provides a link between a proportional volume of water to be consumed and time so as to guide a user toward regular use of user's daily ration of water. The time scale is made of units of time such as hour, minute, second, and one-hundredth of hour, and all fractions of the units of time.
