PURPOSE: A flow blocking valve is provided to always perform a stable blocking motion by mechanically blocking a passage in excess flow. CONSTITUTION: A flow blocking valve comprises a valve body(10), a fixed ring(20), a valve disc(30), and a spring(40). The valve body comprises a first chamber(11) and a second chamber(12). The fixed ring is fixed in the rear end of the second chamber of the valve body. The valve disc is installed in the first chamber of the valve body to be moved in an axial direction to open and close the first chamber while moving back and forth with the flow of fluid flowing along a pipe. The spring is interposed between the fixed ring and the valve disc to elastically support the valve disc from the fixed ring.
