PURPOSE: A chain stopper is provided to remarkably reduce safety accidents by improving binding force for a chain. CONSTITUTION: A chain stopper comprises a roller(120), a support(110), a dog(130), a first binding unit(220), and a second binding unit(240). The first binding unit comprises a first length adjusting machine, a first bracket, and a rotation forcing part. The first bracket is attached in one side of the support to rotatably support the first length adjusting machine. The rotation forcing part receives power when the length of the first length adjusting machine is changed to force the rotation of the dog. A force receiving part and a stopping part are installed in one side of the rotation forcing part.
