The present invention discloses an energy-saving and environmental conservation composite high temperature box electric furnace, which comprises a refractory furnace cavity and a refractory fiber thermal insulating layer. Said refractory furnace cavity is set in the refractory fiber thermal insulating layer. A heating element is set in said refractory furnace cavity, and said heating element is heating wire, carbon rod, silicon carbon rod or silicon molybdenum rod. The present invention not only resolves the problem that the energy consumption is high and the ramp rate is slow in the thick wall electric furnace, but also resolves the problem that the refractory fiber furnace cavity can not be used at high temperature and harmful dust fibers are generated after pulverization.
