The device has thermal resistors provided on a front windscreen (1), side windows (2) and rear windows (3), where the front windscreen and side and rear windows are connected to an external probe (5) by electric cables (4). The probe is connected to a programmer (7), and a switch (8) i.e. on/off switch, is integrated on the programmer. The resistors are supplied with 12 volts by an auxiliary battery and connected together by the cables. The auxiliary battery is placed in an interior cab of a vehicle to provide energy to the probe, resistors and the programmer via the cables.
