<p>This device for detecting the condition of a battery is provided with: an AC signal application unit for applying an AC signal to a battery while performing frequency sweeping; a phase difference detection unit which determines the phase difference between the current flowing in the electric battery and the voltage at both terminals of the battery, when the alternating current signal is being applied to the battery by the AC signal application unit; and a condition detection unit which divides, by the current, the value obtained by subtracting the electromotive force of the battery from the voltage when the AC signal being applied has a frequency such that the phase difference detect by the phase difference detection unit is 0 or in a range that is deemed to be equivalent to 0, and, based on the value obtained by said division, detects the condition of the battery.</p> |
