In order to provide a status monitoring system capable of monitoring the concentration of water mixed into a lubricating oil in a rolling device and finding said concentration with good precision, a mixed-in water concentration monitoring device (6) that monitors the concentration of water mixed into the lubricating oil (5) is disposed in the system. The mixed-in water concentration monitoring device (6) has: a capacitance detection means (7) and an oil temperature measuring means (8) that detect the capacitance and the oil temperature of the lubricating oil (5); and a water concentration calculation means (9) that detects the mixed-in water concentration in accordance with predetermined rules, from the detected capacitance and oil temperature.
