PURPOSE: A black or gray biaxially oriented polyester film containing black pigment is provided to have excellent producibility, excellent hydrolysis, and excellent electrical insulation, and to maintain excellent electrical property under high temperature and high humidity condition for long term. CONSTITUTION: A Biaxially oriented film comprises at least one black pigment, and comprises polyester as a main component. A diol component of the polyester consists of 80 mole% or more of 1,4-cyclohexanedimethanol, and a dicarboxylic component of the polyester comprises 80 mol% or more of one or more of benzenedicarboxylic acid and/or one or more of naphthalene dicarboxylic acid.. The dicarboxylic component comprises 55 mol% or more of a dicarboxylic main component selected from 2,6-naphtalene dicarboxylic acid and terephthalic acid, and 18 mol% or more of a dicarboxylic addition component. |
