A meeting address book writing system for supplying an address book to meeting members' mobile communication terminals and a method therefor are provided to generate a meeting address book by unifying address book information inputted by each member, and to supply the address book to each member, thereby solving misspelling and excessive time consumption. An ARS(Automatic Response System) server(20) inputs contents of an address book and telephone numbers of mobile communication terminals(10) from the terminals(10) or from wired terminals(11), to write the address book and a meeting code for identifying a meeting. A meeting address book writing server(30) stores address book information inputted by identifying a meeting address book position for storing the inputted address book information according to the meeting code inputted through the ARS server(20), generates/transmits a callback URL(Uniform Resource Locator) short message including a URL address of the position, and transmits the corresponding meeting address book in response to download requests received from the terminals(10). An SMSC(Short Message Service Center)(40) transmits the callback URL short message requested by the server(30) to the terminals(10) included in the meeting address book. |
