The invention relates to a cooled heat-withdrawing channel (11) which runs elongated in the cylinder head, adjoins the pressure valve, and has a slot-like cross-section. The smaller dimension of the heat-withdrawing channel is delimited by two separately manufactured components (1, 2) that do not form the heat-withdrawing channel (1) until assembled. Therefore, the cross-section of the heat-withdrawing channel (11) can be produced easily and can basically be designed to have any thickness, thus achieving excellent cooling of the pressurized gas.
