<p>The invention relates to a method for producing images from samples in optical microscopy that makes it possible to produce images with complete quantitative phase information or optical path difference of microscopic samples (M) by means of generating simultaneous phase gradient images. The light emerging from the sample, illuminated by a variety of flat waves, is divided into four bundles by optical or electro-optical means. The image of the sample with the four bundles is simultaneously generated on a matrix sensor. The images are directly related to the gradient. A numerical integration algorithm is used to produce the phase from the gradient information. The invention is particularly useful as a microscopy technique in biology and biomedicine.</p> |
