The invention relates to a hydrostatic wave-powered generator that includes a center float (1) and at least four radial floats (2) joined to the center float (1) by means of hinges (6) that each have two pistons (7), such that the momentum provided by the action of the waves enables the pistons (7) to pump a fluid in movement, preferably sea water, from the sea to an elevated point on the coast, from where said fluid is channeled in a controlled manner to a turbine connected to an electrical current generator. The center of the center float (1) of the wave-powered generator is provided with a mast (4) that includes an elevated weight (5) that acts as a metacentric exciter for the structure. In an alternative application, hydrostatic wave energy can be used to transfer water to land in irrigation applications or as a conductor fluid for transporting raw material in mining.
