摘要 PURPOSE: An apparatus for cooling exhaust gas is provided to increase the contact efficiency of cool air and to prevent the clogging phenomenon of a discharging path. CONSTITUTION: An apparatus for cooling exhaust gas includes an introducing pipe(20), a connecting pipe(30), a precipitate eliminating member(40), and a discharging pipe(50). Exhaust gas from a glass melting furnace is introduced into the introducing pipe. The connecting pipe is in connection with the peripheral of the introducing pipe in order to downwardly transfer exhaust gas and precipitate boric oxide from the exhaust gas by a cooling process. The precipitate eliminating member eliminates the boric oxide from the inner wall of the connecting pipe and to form boron powder based on the eliminated boric oxide. A blowing member(32) is arranged at the peripheral of the connecting pipe. A guiding duct(34) guides air from the blowing member.
