PURPOSE: A hydraulic caliper brake is provided to prevent safety accidents by incidentally braking a drum of a winch. CONSTITUTION: A hydraulic caliper brake comprises a cylinder housing, a housing cover(14), a first cylinder(22), a second cylinder(24), a moving plate, a first pad(32), and a second pad(34). A chamber(12) is formed inside the cylinder housing. The housing cover is coupled to one side of the cylinder housing by bolts and fixes the cylinder housing in a winch structure. The first and second cylinders are built in the chamber of the cylinder housing. The first pad is compressed to one side of a disc(110) or is released the compression according to the movement of the moving plate. The second pad is compressed to the other side of the disc or is released the compression according to the operation of the second cylinder. |
