<p>Provided is a palm oil effluent treatment device which sufficiently reduces the SS component and BOD component of palm oil effluent. The palm oil effluent after methane fermentation is introduced into an aeration tank (2) and biologically treated; thereby the organic matter is decomposed, reducing mainly the soluble BOD component (part of the BOD component that is a SS is also removed). To the biologically-treated palm oil effluent from the aeration tank (2), a flocculant supply means (10) supplies a flocculant. After the flocculant is supplied, a flocculated sludge treatment means (4) easily separates the flocculant-containing palm oil effluent into treated water and flocculated sludge, and since this flocculated sludge is formed from the SS component which has reacted with the flocculant, the SS component can be reduced in the treated water together with the BOD component originating from the SS.</p> |
