PURPOSE: A light emitting device and a manufacturing method thereof are provided to improve light extraction efficiency of the light emitting device by forming a light extraction structure on one side of the light emitting device. CONSTITUTION: A support substrate(310) is made of conductive materials. The support substrate improves thermal stability of a light emitting device(300). A first electrode layer(320) is formed on the support substrate. A light emitting structure(330) includes a first conductive semiconductor layer(332), an active layer(334) and a second conductive semiconductor layer(336). A light extraction structure(340) is formed on one side of the light emitting structure. |
