A power-generating apparatus, relating to the technical field of a novel clean energy, relating specifically to the technical field of wind power. The power-generating apparatus comprises a wind turbine (1), a controller (2), an energy storage module (3), an inverter (4), an alternator (5), and an electric motor (6). The inverter is connected to the energy storage module and is for use in transforming a direct current into an alternating current, thereby providing electrical equipment with working power; the inverter allows for soft starting of the electric motor; and the electrical motor is connected to a shaft of the wind turbine via a reduction gear. When the electrical charge within the energy storage module reaches a predetermined value, the electrical motor starts to work at the same time when the energy storage module is charging, then, the electrical motor drives the wind turbine into rotation, thus preventing the wind turbine from halting when the wind pauses for a short time. This allows the wind turbine to rotate continuously to output steadily electrical power. |
