A medical holding device comprises: a support arm (18) having a distal end to which a holder (20) for an endoscope (8) can be connected; and a movable arm (16) connected to a proximal end of the support arm for moving the holder upward, downward, and horizontally and fixing the holder. The support arm comprises: a distal end connection part (44) to which the holder can be rotatably connected; a proximal end connection part (42) to which the movable arm is rotatably connected; and an offset part (46) disposed between the distal and proximal end connection parts and set off an axial line (R) passing through the distal and proximal end connection parts, wherein the offset part is rotatable around the axial line (R) with respect to both the holder and the movable arm. |
